Government Analyst to Private sector? (LA)

Good morning all,

I'm currently a government analyst for a state agency in Tallahassee Florida. The job I have is great, but overall I hate the town and everything about Tallahassee.

I'm looking to make a career change and LA has always been my dream city. I'm curious if after two years of experience as a government analyst if I would be able to find a corporate finance job in LA?

I did not go to a target school, I attended Penn State, and graduated with a 3.5. Besides my 2 years as a government analyst I have no prior internships or professional experience.

Any suggestions and/or advice is highly appreciated

If it was federal government I'd suggest an inter-agency transfer. But see if there is a transfer option within Florida if you wouldn't mind living somewhere else and definitely look at USA jobs.
