Graduate Early FT BB vs Stay and Try to Land Internship at HF?

Rising junior here, Currently at a BB interning as a quant. I like my team and work, likely will get a FT offer; however, my goal is QT work at a HF/prop trading (similar work, more $$ in my mind).

I have the option to stay in school an extra semester or two, and recruit for QT internships for 2024.

Is it worth it to do so, or is it common to pivot after a couple years of FT? My current thinking is that the jump to QT is easier via an internship while I'm still in school
