You're getting really discouraged. The finance jobs in America put you easily in the top 10%, so it's a big accomplishment to work at any of those places. And don't think that something like a sales job is boring or you're settling. Those are really important roles. I also noticed that you did a lot of drinking. That's a really bad idea so I'd say take a break so you can relax and focus on your goals. Just do what makes you feel right and figure it out as you go. You have all these preconceived notions that aren't really that big of a deal. And why'd you refer to a financial institution as a "no-name bank." A job is a job. If you don't like it that's fine, but don't deny an opportunity just because it doesn't look good on paper. And why stay in the northeast? You're 22. Why would you limit yourself like that? I'm being pretty straightforward here but case in point, whatever it is, just f*ing do it!!
