GS Interview Process Early Careers
Greetings all,
I’m very mixed minded at the moment. I applied to a lot of early career roles at GS ranging from the project management, trade/transaction, product management, and trading. I currently took this approach to increase my chances of getting in to grow with the company and was also given this advice, these roles range from analyst to associate.
Currently, I have 14 roles from various areas that say “Interview” and 3 that say “In review”. I had a Superday 3 weeks ago as an associate and followed up week after week (no response) and have heard nothing yet on this role which I had 6 interviews in 3 hours. Typically I will get short emails from GS asking my desired comp and location preferences.
I’m diversifying my options, but does anyone know if this is normal with the early careers? Does the career portal change to “offer”? And typically how will offers be sent? Should I have a good chance with GS? Or seek other smaller firms local? (If I move I want it to be at the GS locations I applied too). I have dreamed to be with GS but weary of the process, and don’t want to be waiting forever as I just graduated, but still momentarily patient.
Just for reference, I’m 23, have an MBA, undergrad in finance, 5 years in retail management, other management, and self employed.
Hey thebaseballstud7, sorry about the delay, but are any of these useful:
