Highest paying fully remote finance job?

Corp Dev if you're abroad. If staying in the states I know a guy at one of the top pod shops consistently making >$700k/yr who gets to work remote but he's more senior (~10 YOE).

3-5yr exp FA, typically investor relationships, structuring debt obligations, or Quant work for some of the FinTech companies that are still trying to grow pay really well aka SoFi and Affirm. But who knows how real they are as they also continuously do layoffs and at some point will want employees in office. But hire remote I know a couple stem kids that went an worked for them before leaving for Amazon. They were offered 225k base with options. 

Not finance but I know someone who was pretty much fully remote for a tech company in strategy and they lived in a HCOL city with offices of said tech company. They made about USD 250k all in, never worked more than an 8 hour day and consistently worked 4-5 hour days. 

Hey, definitely possible. I know a few people who left banking/PE and are now working remotely as CFOs or in strategic finance roles for startups — pulling $250k to $400k depending on bonuses. It's not super common yet, but it's growing, especially with companies that are fully remote or async.

If you have a strong deal background or fundraising experience, you can absolutely find remote gigs that pay well while living wherever you want — Europe, rural U.S., wherever. It might take some networking and not everything is super "posted" online, but if you're flexible and willing to build relationships, it’s doable.

Would be curious if you're thinking of staying closer to investing or if you're looking to pivot a little into more operational/strategic roles.
