Hiring: Institutional ER Sales Jr. in NYC

Hey guys,

My firm is hiring someone interested in starting down the institutional sales path. I work for a small indy shop that does pretty nichey research(short selling, deep value, special sit).

From the job description:

Primary responsibilities are: scheduling meetings with investment managers, researching the investment styles of money managers across various sales territories, maintaining all necessary correspondence with prospective clients, and sharing valuable marketing information with others in the firm. Other responsibilities include tracking revenues and projected revenues for the sales team, as well as developing a deep understanding of the research.

The upside of this role is you will get exposure to portfolio managers and analysts at hedge and mutual funds across the country. Pay isn't spectacular but the work/life balance is WAY better than bulge bracket sales.
