How are exit opportunities from Real Estate PE?

I received an offer from a real estate PE firm focusing on green energy projects (i.e. building solar energy farms) but ultimately my goal is to transition into VC or Growth Equity. How realistic is this goal? Also what kind of skills would I pick up on the job?

Im not sure if I want to do it or not, but I would definitely want to try it out at least. Im just unsure if I would be able to exit into VC/PE if I hapoen to not like it.

Good enough experience in my head to transition

In the end the junior job is similar for PE and REPE spreadsheet modelling and investment decks/pitches etc..for example we (RE) recently hired a senior analyst from a VC/PE firm so the other way around is feasible

Hope this helps!
