How are these students getting my work email ?

Recently started full time and constantly get spammed by students looking for coffee chats. My question is how on earth did they get my email? I didn’t get my email until like a week ago, and my name is pretty complicated and email format is weird. How

Most companies have a very standard format... [email protected] or some other convention that is consistent across the company. I'm sure people helped you land this job, you should get on the phone with them when you have time

You have the occasional [email protected] or [email protected] but if that many kids have emailed you in a week, your email is probably the normal format

Email format guessing isn't too hard, I've only had to give up for 4 people out of 65 emails sent so far. Some of them might also have relatives in the industry; I know a guy whose father works in back office at a BB and will look up anyone at the firm's email for him.

If the firm includes middle names in its format, you can look for graduation programmes or FINRA filings. Didn't you go through this yourself?
