How did you land that job?

Obviously most people here are young and probably went through OCR. I saw a stat where 80% of people had someone on the inside of another firm help land them a job (probably 2nd/3rd job onward). Clearly networking has and always will be the most important skill.

1) How did you land that job? (Professional network, friends, family, applications)

2) To those posting jobs on WSO, does recruiting actually work on here? (A % of good to bad applicants would be helpful)
