How is the election changing job markets for summer 2025?

For context, I decided on an AM internship in NY in SA 2025. Given the election results, will this turn oiut to be a bad choice? I can still swtich to one of my S&T or IB offers, but i'd rather start on buyside. Again i'm just in college so please dumb it down for me

literally no idea, I have friends that are worried about being in S&T next summer so i didn't know if it would affect me either positively or negatively

If your goal is to work on the buyside long-term, starting there makes sense—it’s where you want to end up anyway. But if you feel like S&T or IB might help you build better skills or make stronger connections, they’re still solid options to think about.
