How is this for a cold call?
I have refferals to a few firms (BlackRock, lord abbet, JPMorgan, and opp) however I was also looking to expand my network a little more and meet with the firms to talk about internships. I have all of the 1800 numbers and I plan on calling and briefly stating my name, school and areas of interest, and just asking people on the phone if they would grab coffee. However, would the people on the phone even have any experience or should I ask if they could put me in contact with someone who I could ask questions about internships. Unlike some people on here, I was not born out of the womb for finance and my GPA is 3.0+ but on the lower half, so I have put a large emphasis on networking to obtain an offer. Let me know what you think and thanks for the feedback all.
if you call the 800 number you'll probably get some admin staff to answer your phone
