How Many Calls Should I Be Doing?

Currently preparing for SA 2026. I've been sending cold emails at a rate that gets me about 12 calls per week; this was perfectly manageable over the summer, but I've been struggling to balance networking with classes and extracurriculars as of late. Would it be okay to tone down my efforts for the time being, or should I keep at this rate?

Keep at this rate. There is no guarantee that this level of success will continue and you will inevitably have a bad week or two.

You also just want to keep developing as many relationships as possible, as you never know what can come from them. Sometimes you only need one to really vouch and push for you and you’ll only find that needle in a haystack by continuing on.

It’ll suck for a while and only get better once you accept an offer because then you’re actually done, but you’ll be able to look back and be happy at the progress you made.

Good luck!
