How many chats does an analyst usually choose to take with prospective summer analysts?

I'm a sophomore recruiting for West Coast Summer 2026, and I'm just curious how many chats analysts usually choose to schedule a week with prospective interns trying to also network into the firms.

Some of the analysts I've met so far seem like they talk with prospective interns on a daily basis, and others are genuinely excited to talk. Everyone I've spoken with have been awesome people and great to talk to, I'm just curious how often they usually speak with a bunch of clones of myself all scrambling for spots?

This is why the seniors complain about the new IB kids, isn't it? Just a distinct lack of any social awareness and social skills, but that's what happens when the process is so early.

There is no set number, some people talk to like 20 others to 0, all person dependent.
