How to make yourself a better applicant

Hi,

I'm a rising junior at a non target with about as good a resume you can have from a standard applicant (minus the non target and sophomore BB internship). I'd also consider myself a great networker as seeing how I've gotten numerous interviews across a wide spectrum of top firms from referrals.

I've gotten a few superdays but still haven't received any Summer 2025 offer yet. I have good answers to all behavioral and technical questions, but honestly don't know shit about what really goes on. I feel as though I have every skill needed for success in an interview, but don't actually know as much as I should about investing, markets, etc. - this being the reason I've gotten so many rejections.

Whenever I ask this question I always get told the same BS about reading the journal everyday and other things, which I already do. I was wondering if anyone had any sort of comprehensive guide/course they used to make themselves more valuable as applicants rather than just some improving interview skills through some interview guide.

Would really appreciate any help anyone can give.

Is this for IB? Tbh, your pedigree and academic background is not that relevant when you step into the superday. Probably a matter of soft skills + vibing with senior interviewers.
