Do you know where the copy machine is?

This is so general, this is like saying how do I prepare for a FO role at a BB....that could be one of 100 things...more specific if you want real help.

Also starting salary enough for you to buy milk and eggs?

Search Function.

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

DJ Long StraddleShow up with your dick hanging out and say "love it or leave it."

Whether in the workplace or in your private relationships, this = NEVER. FUCKING. FAILS.

OP.. starting salary is about 60k, plus overtime, plus a 10k signing bonus at MS. In regards for preparation, most Ops interviews are largely behavioral and fit based.

I have one coming in Baltimore for MS and the starting salary is 42k, are they serious? is it worth it? I eventually wanna move to NY, how easy are lateral moves? Can one switch from one operations job in City A to another in City B within the same cmpany?

If it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense..... Dear Internet Users, Someday u will regret not reading me. Sincerely, Terms & Conditions....

Sorry to see the big discrepancy between salaries.. I would say if you get the job, just make sure they know you want NY at some point.. Although, for MS, only certain Ops jobs are in MD, whereas trade support and majority of others are in ny metro.

I don't think they will really hire you if you tell them oh yeh im just trina get in . I eventually wanna go to NY LOL. They told me though that they require an 18months commitment and after the 18months, you could basically transfer to any office you'd want or any other department. Do you know if the sign-in bonus applies to NY only or to other offices as well? coz they didn't mention it at all. Also how much growth is there really? The positions in Baltimore were for a letter of credit specialist and a securities-lending analyst, which one would be better? more opportunities? And will u be able to transfer to NY if they dont have those departments there? Thank you

From what I have heard and read on this forum. Yes- behavioral and fit only.

Emphasize work ethic, attitude, team work, etc.

Definately behavioral. What types of technicals could they possibly ask?
