How to transition from Banking into Tech?
I studied Banking & Finance for my bachelor's degree, have done an M&A internship and was planning on going into IB. However, with current job market trends, I am considering on pursuing a career in a Computer Science/Finance related role, as a classic analyst role becomes less and less attractive (longer hours, lower relative pay). What sort of CS master's degree would you guys recommend, which would be applicable to a finance background, and would you recommend CS over IB in general? Thank you!
Hi MichaelF, any of these threads helpful:
More suggestions...
I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
I think the hours are long but i wouldn't say less pay, IB pays extremely well
