HR Emailed to Schedule Call About Outcome 1 Day After Superday?

Does anyone know what this could mean? I'm literally super anxious that it's a rejection, but I can not imagine them scheduling a call in advance before the weekend to flat-out reject me.

I had my SD yesterday on Thursday, and I received the email earlier today to talk on Monday about my outcome.

Update: It was a rejection lol

Unfortunately I can't help you, but I can tell you that HR has no class. They would absolutely call you on whatever day they pleased. They love to call about things that could have just been emails.

Have you ever heard of them calling to reject a candidate, though? Like I've never heard that but wanted to hear from people in the industry

Honestly, you were probably waitlisted. I've never heard of any offer being given later than 24 hours out (unless you were the second choice), and in almost every scenario it's the most senior/lead interviewer or someone similar who gives the call. But if you were to get an offer call so late after interviewing, DB and a few other BBs are the likely banks who would do so. EBs and MMs are typically more streamlined.
