I need advice

Reaching out to the community for advice. I am 24 years old and trying to break into the financial industry after working in consulting for a year and a half. I graduated from college with a degree in finance two years ago. After leaving the firm, I passed the SIE and Series 66, and I am now preparing to take Series 7. With that being said, it has been very tough to get my foot in the door at firms, even after going through several interviews at a few. My goal is to work at a WM or an asset management firm.

I received an opportunity to work at an insurance and investment management company that is recruiting "advisors." I know this means I am building a book from scratch. This is not the start I had in mind, but I do not have any experience in the financial world, and time is ticking. If anyone can share possible thoughts about this opportunity or thoughts to break in, it would be greatly appreciated.
