IB SA Structure

Hi,

I am a student at a semi-target school in Canada. I was wondering how IB Summer Analyst positions work? Do you complete the internship from June-August? Are there BBs in the US that offer off-cycle IB internships?

Also, if an intern was to receive a full-time offer, when would they be expected to start full-time? Are BB firms flexible with starting anytime? Or are there specified months?

Broadly speaking and from anecdotal and LinkedIn experience generally Big 5/6 Canada will do 4 months SA term May to August. I’m pretty sure Globals are on the same timeline as US SA classes, so theirs would be June to August I presume. Don’t quote me 100% on the global but fairly sure of Canadian Banks
