If applying to jobs a waste of time, then how did everyone get their first jobs?
For every job posting, there is about 500+/- job applications. Of which, only 1 person will get the job. People say that applying to jobs is a waste of time because your resume will be tossed into a black hole. If that is the case, how do people get their first/current jobs?
