Intern, undergrad, or MBA?

Hello all,

I'm new to the site, and a career changer looking to get into Finance. I currently hold a (Non-Target) Bachelor's Degree in Health Science. I haven't been very happy with my current position, and there is not much room for promotion in my field. I would like to start a career in finance, any help would be much appreciated. I don't know much about the Finance world, but I have ruled out everything else and this seems like the best fit for me, I am very interested in the stock market / investing (Equity Research??). I was wondering what would be the best way to start my career in Finance? Here are three possible routes (questions) I have been mulling over:

1) Should I start applying for internships / jobs with the degree that I currently hold?

2) OR should I first go back to undergrad to get a Bachelor's degree in Finance?

3) OR should I just take the GMAT and go straight to get my MBA?

I am very confused about what I should do and could use some help...

Additionally what are some examples of prestigious entry-level jobs that are in demand? I am an introvert, so would something in Equity Research be good? Can someone with a BS in Health Science get a job in Equity Research without any experience? Sorry for all the questions, I just have so many thing running through my head and I'm excited to get get started! Thanks everyone!

Based on undergrad GPA and work experience could you get into a good MBA? It may beneficial for you to apply to a combined MBA/MPH program if it could help you get in. MFin would also be very helpful. If you could get into a MFin program that places better than a MBA program you could get into then I'd go with MFin.
