Internships in the US or Europe available for foreigners

I wish to go through some internships in order to be able to gain experience in the Financial world, and gain value as a professional. However, I live in neither the US nor do I live in Europe. So, I was wondering if there were any programs in which foreigners could apply.

That said, my father was born in the US in the State of Virginia. All the same, I never got an American citizenship from his side. In addition, my great-grandfather was Italian, and I did get an Italian citizenship. So, I'm a citizen of the EU.

Are there any decent-to-good internship programs at which I could apply in either America or Europe? If there are, which ones would you recommend me and what steps would you advise me to follow to make the best out of it?

Thanks in advance.

JBJ-89Not to burst your bubble, but you need to read up on how to get internships in general, especially finance related internships. Furthermore, your post lacks the information that I would need in order to give useful advice, like for example how old are you? at what level are you studying? which school are you studying at? etc etc.
Please, be as direct as much a you need. I need to learn about this, and I'm sure that even if it is difficult, there must be a way in.

Anyhow, I'm Ecuadorian. I'm 27 years old. I graduated on 2011. My major is Economics.
