Interview Advice You Wish You Knew Earlier?
I've only discovered this site a couple of years ago, and barely used it to gain knowledge and insights, previously just browsed random topics rather than ask questions.
I've had so many questions, situations and other stuff that have come up in prior roles that I wasn't able to address. One of these is interviewing advice. I often think I come off as either robotic or stiff, which may or may not resonate well with someone on the other side of the table.
For those of you who consider yourselves to be good interviewers, what are things you think you do well, and things you wish you knew earlier that may have helped you through your processes?
Thank you in advance.
One of the best pieces of advice I was given regarding interviews is to develop interview experience. You'll get better over time and take interviews if you can to just train you and make you better at interviews. Over time, interviews will begin to go seamlessly.
Yeah definitely think that could be helpful. Seems difficult to get interviews these days.
I wonder how long it could take before roles begin to open up again, keep thinking it could be until '24 at the very earliest
