Interview, Lying or Rephrasing?

In interviews, I’m asked, how are you in a stressful situation? The honest answer is not well because I freeze. However, I can't say that in an interview. I say, when I'm a stressful situation, I step back to think through the situation and create a resolution plan. Then I execute on this plan, providing an example.

This answer is received well, but I'm concerned it's lying to the interviewer. However, I'll never get the jobs I want if I'm 100% honest. I’d like to know any thoughts from other monkeys.
