Is it okay to list off-the-book jobs on your resume?
So I worked for sometime for this company doing their invoices which i was in college, they paid me cash. Is it safe to list that job on my resume? What's the worse that can happen?
List it, and if anyone asks just say your worked for free.
If you didnt pay taxes, it will be risky to state that you were employed & paid a wage. Many places will ask for a W2 as part of the background check process.
I would mention it as an unpaid internship
