Is submitting applications online even worth it?

Analyst looking to lateral here. Open to roles other than banking and will likely be focusing mostly on those. 1. Is submitting applications online with no networking worth it? Is that how F500 operates typically? 2. What was your split when you guys did this? 75% networking / 25% submitting apps for example. Thanks in advance.

I would say unless you’re networking you’re just submitting your app into a black hole. Networking is crucial, assuming ur in the US

When I was applying, I’d send out a shit ton of apps but only attempt on network for jobs I really wanted

did you cold apply at big firms too or j randoms on linkedin
