is the CFA or SIE useful certificates for resume to get IB internships? (general carrier advice aswell)

I am a rising junior at a top 5 university majoring in econ and minoring in data science, I have no prior internship or relevant work experience. I'm hoping that one of these certs could help make up for that as I am looking for a good summer internship in IB. I am aware that a cert is not an end-all or a replacement to work experience. although I don't have many other options to gain experience in order to be a contender for these internships.

any other certificate suggestions that you that would be better would also be appreciated or any general advice.

CFA is not a certification it’s a three step exam and as an undergraduate you only qualify to take exam 1. Not sure about the weight of the FMVA on the resume tho, can anyone help?

Take SIE, Market Concepts, and other courses to become proficient at modeling. You can speak to this stuff on a resume under a “freelance studies” or “independent research” tab. SIE should come first, and market concepts can be done in a day.
