Is this one FO or more MO? Support the VP of Fin Management and the Manager of Financial Planning

Financial Modeling and analysis: Maintain/update models on planning/forecast Models for Sales forecast, strategic initiatives/new opportunities, business and financial risk identification and transaction evaluation “What-if” scenarios and ad-hoc request for detailed analysis

Financial planning/reporting: Support/assist the annual budget process Preparation, analysis and presentation of monthly financial reporting

Special Projects: Develop and implement a system for tracking and reporting on the progress of the strategic plan implementation. Assist other members of the management in special projects are completed in a timely and accurate manner as directed. Develop a broad and deep knowledge of all programs.

This drives me nuts about WSO. Operating companies do not have front office and back office in the same way that an investment bank does. Yes, this role does not generate revenue, but in a "real" company the only job that does is sales. It's not directly comparable to the FO/BO construct because not as many people generate revenue as it's not a human capital business.
