Its a birthday and I am done

Hey people, I hae been recruiting hard lately, got 3 ACs from London banks for sumemr intern but got dinged (one lady from my own school dinged me out of pure jealousy, imagine being dinged by your alumni just for a single question which is a non tradition question about bloomberg) from a European school but couldnot crack it. Family is far off and I woudl really appreciate it if people can simple say a happy birthday. Recruiting has made me go from a happy adventurous guy to a miserable one (being international student sucks). But I still will fight, for I know sher persistence and hard work always win.
A happy birthday would make it feel ok, there is still fire, there is stil hope

Happy birthday man.

I grew up middle class. At one point in my life I had been suspended from high school for a serious offense. At another point I was asked to leave college for a year. At another point, I had gambled away my entire net worth. I’ve been in love and dumped, been inches away from a dream job and dinged and been screwed over at work for no reason.

Life is never a straight path absent of adversity.

Jesus, how many times do I have to repeat myself. Does anyone ever actually read my posts? Or do people just seem my username and instantly agree or disagree?

I GREW UP MIDDLE CLASS. I had to bust my butt to get into an Ivy League school. 1540 SAT. Kumon math. Extra curricular crap. I was a normal middle class person.

TEN years into my banking career, my father made it into the c-suite of a company and I married a girl who I thought was middle class when I fell in love and proposed, but found out during wedding plan her father was rich.

Do you plebs understand? I grew up middle and became successful and married well. Jesus, why is this such a hard concept to comprehend?

Im one of the few people here who share real life details and try to help and don’t post anonymously like a huge p*ssy.

Believe me or think I’m making it all up. But when people lie, typically their posts show inconsistencies, so if you’re bored look through anything I’ve shared and see if you can spot a falsehood.

Happy birthday.

But I can't stress enough how never giving up will make you look back at this period in life and thank yourself that you pushed through the disappointment and frustration.

Sometimes when I look back, despite being an atheist, I think that someone from up there really took care of me by redirecting me towards better paths. You can't even imagine the life I have envisioned for myself at 18 and the life I lived in the last years. The difference is frightening.

It's like someone really took care of me, not by giving me anything, but by pointing me to the right paths in life. Still, the real answer is that you were the only one that made it happen. Our futures aren't predetermined, our futures is what we make from them.

Happy Birthday! Wishing you landing a brilliant offer!

BTW Sometimes fellow alumni or similar are the worst. Once during an interview I got mocked (literally) by a guy of my nationality who suggested the university I attended was crappy - he graduated from a target while I from a semi target. Then he asked me a ton of absurd questions.

Anyway, shit happens, but please keep fighting!

Oh boy - had such a similar experience at one of the BB Assessment Centres in London. Unfortunately for me, all the 3 rounds of my AC had these guys from my nationality lol
