Jobs similar to old-school stockbroker
I am in college and I like the idea of sitting in an office all day, calling people trying to get them to invest in a stock. Next to a bunch of your buddies all doing the same thing. Looked like a great job to do in the 80s, unfortunately I haven't really figured out if these kind of jobs still exist. What are jobs where you are constantly calling / meeting people trying to get them to invest or buy stocks etc, or if that doesn't exist for stocks anymore does a similar job exist in any sector, be it real estate or practically anything? Cold-calling cold meeting convincing people to invest in your stuff. Thanks. To be honest, I've done a decent amount of research into what all these terms mean: BB, IB, PE, HF, S&T, AM, MM, DCF, EBITDA, ECM, FT, HF, FT, IBD, IPO, LBO, M&A, PWM, PB, PWM, SA, VC, and so on and so forth, but I still couldn't answer the above question if someone were to ask me.
