JP Morgan Equities Asset Management Interview Help/Advice
Hi WSO!
I have a 30 minute phone interview coming up for JP Morgans US Equities Asset Management summer program.
Has anyone been in this process or have any insight as to how to prepare and what questions I could be asked?
I've been mostly interviewing for IB positions and AM is a new field for me so I have a lot to learn & was hoping someone could help tell me what to expect.
Any help would be huge!! I'm at a non-target so these opportunities don't come around everyday.
Phone interview: lots of fit and generic markets questions - do you follow the markets? why JPM? Where do you see yourself in 5 yr? 10 yr? Where did the S&P500 close yesterday?
superday: a lot of basic modern portfolio theory stuff - diversification, types of risk, etc
Thought this was odd though: the first interviewer came in, introduced himself, handed me a numerical quiz, and left the room. 5 minutes later he came back and took the quiz and left again.. it was easy but still, this was strange
