JPM intern mobility

Does anyone know what the policy is for intern mobility from summer to full time is at jpm? Specifically non ib so from one front office division to another non ib division? I really don’t see myself long term at the division I will be in and am wondering if moving would be possible to move if I network well?

I worked at JPM (though quite few years ago so I don't claim this is up to date!), and after my internship in one trading area got a job offer from another one. In general I would say most banks won't have a policy that says much about internal moves. If the area you want to move to had some headcount, meaning they can hire, and you are a good candidate and they want you then you can move. In my experience definitely much easier to move internally as you have a chance to go and speak to people etc.

Thank you for the reply and yes makes sense. My only worry is my internship won’t involve almost any technical skills so showing I have that ability could be tough, I am thinking of trying to do some stuff on my own time to show I have some modeling ability etc. but it’s good to hear it could be possible
