Landing an IB Offer with no prior due diligence experience?
At a semi target right now and have done 3 internships at a LMM investment bank, small growth equity firm and hedge fund. However all the work that I did was market research/sourcing, and listening in on buyer seller calls here and there. Haven't done any work on models, CIMS, pitch decks etc.
Will be recruiting next spring and I just had a internship offer open up which would give me that experience. However its full time and I'm also looking to transfer schools next year so there's a good chance that taking the internship and not doing classes would screw my transfer application.
I could do a part time internship but all the ones that are available to me are sourcing/research roles.
Contemplating just doing the part time one. Would it screw me over when it comes time to recruit if I don't have any hands on due diligence experience?
