Lateral Market for Experienced Analysts
Figured it would be worth starting a thread to get insight for other AN2+ in the market for lateral opportunities.
Appears the market continues to be slow with layoffs lingering and banks holding out on hiring until the market visibly picks up. As first-years' bonus season comes to a close, one my expect some open seats from a select group that quit or find new opportunities.
Curious if anyone else has heard of or had the same insights through networking? Any missing color here or updates on activity from recruiters, timing of expected hirings, etc.?

I have only really been seeing some hiring mostly at the VP and above level. Although I am not super tied into the market for experience Analyst right now.
Would also be interested in hearing opinions on churn following summer bonuses. I feel like it'll be very low given the current environment
Believe that even the LMM shops have had higher retention then what they could have expected and some offering more security than these other FOs that whose earnings have been cut. In short, would expect churn to remain pretty low compared to normal.
Anyone get their toes wet in PE recruiting? Curious how that market is in IB remains slow
