Lateral recruiting slowing down?
Finishing up my 1st year as an associate, has anyone noticed if lateral recruiting or recruiting in general has slowed down?

My one data point is that it seems to be heating up--I'm getting new lateral opportunities nearly everyday to my inbox, but nothing that I'd really want (e.g., Micro-Cap in Cleveland or MM in Pittsburgh with some LMM in LA or NYC)
I haven’t noticed a slowdown. Most funds are coming off of record fundraises, with lots of capital to deploy. In buyouts, I assume hiring will remain constant, as there will be plenty of distressed and take-private work. I might anticipate it will slow down on the growth equity side, but that’s just one man’s opinion.
Been getting pinged for a lot of UMM and a handful of MF opportunities (sr. associate roles) so def haven't noticed a slowdown
