Lateraling in IB

Currently an analyst at a regional boutique, (been here for a year) and I would like to lateral to a larger bank. Due to the firm’s lack of formal training, I haven’t gotten to do a great amount of modeling yet. What do you guys suggest I do to improve my modeling skills - is there one guide (BIWS/WSO/TTS/etc.) that is known for better modeling prep?

Also - would appreciate any advice on lateral interviews in general, and any comments on the feasibility of lateraling to a larger MM firm from a regional boutique.

TIA!

As long as you get good deal experience, prepare well (technically and behaviorally), and network your ass off, you can land anywhere you want. IB analysts with experience, regardless of bank size are in demand, especially in this labor market. Leave no stone unturned and dont get discouraged by rejection.
