Leaving My Job “Soon”
I have decided I will leave my job in Consulting at a Big4. I struggle to do more than what’s expected as I know I won’t be staying for more than 60 days. I have an offer that I pushed for September to get my bonus before I leave. Any suggestions? Should I communicate that or keep covering what’s needed until I leave.
If your bonus is "discretionary" you never, ever tell them you're leaving before it's in your bank account.
I second this. Don't change your behaviour or interactions in any way. Aim to leave on good terms (on a relative basis) so that you keep the door open in the future.
Quietly bide your time, collect your bonus and give your two week's notice once it's all said and done.
