People will not respond on LinkedIn lol. Also I would make your initial email a bit longer and wouldn't really say you are interested in a summer analyst role. It comes across as transactional and will be less likely to respond. Introduce yourself, your school, and mention your connection to them. Then I would just say how you are interested in learning more about their role and the firm. Obviously write better than how I just said it but they will understand why you are reaching out to them
