March with no Exit lined up, am i cooked?
2nd year analyst in a top group that hasn't been able to convert any offers yet at the end of my stint. I have been looking since the end of last year but ruled out most pe/hf type roles for more lifestyle gigs. I'm not sure why I'm having such a hard time recruiting - I have been to at least 10 final rounds by now but always get hit with a rejection (but HR makes sure to note it was a competitive process and I only received good feedback), or that they're no longer hiring for the position at the moment etc. I've been hearing that the market is bad, but I didn't think it would be this bad? I really don't want to stay in banking so unlikely to take the ASO promote...is it possible to convert something before the summer?
I’m in the same spot. Been getting HH calls but nothing converts. I think the off cycle market is still slow.
Told myself last year that I’ll definitely be out by summer and yet I’m still here with nothing in hand haha fml
When I was an SA last year, I saw one of our second years pull an offer for a smaller boutique in late May, early June and then preceded to leave end of June, so I wouldn’t give up hope.
