Mobius Ventures &/or Augment Jobs - Scam or Scraping?

Not sure if anyone else is seeing hundreds of job postings from Mobius Ventures / Augment Jobs on LinkedIn for everything from ER summer analyst to VC investment partner...

Extremely annoying to x-out 90% of the jobs on my one saved search.

Either these guys have fixed the hiring market or something is really fishy here. Founded by a couple MLT guys that got coached out of Bain. Website has bizdev services for startups. What's really going on?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't a direct mention of Mobius Ventures or Augment Jobs in the provided knowledge base. However, there are discussions about questionable job postings and scams on LinkedIn, as well as companies with dubious practices. For example, threads like "Scam Internship List: Be Aware" and "OfficeHours Fake Employee LinkedIn" highlight concerns about fraudulent or misleading job postings and companies.

If you're seeing an overwhelming number of postings from these entities, it could be worth investigating further. Some red flags to watch for include:

  1. Excessive Job Postings: If a company is posting hundreds of roles across various levels and industries, it might indicate scraping or spam-like behavior.
  2. Lack of Credibility: Check their website, LinkedIn profiles, and any reviews or discussions about them online. A lack of transparency or vague information is a warning sign.
  3. Unusual Practices: If they require upfront payments, personal information, or seem overly aggressive in their outreach, proceed with caution.
