MS BO to FO

Hi,

I recently received an offer from MS for a comp accounting role. I do not want to stay in accounting and would rather pivot to the investment / portfolio mgmt side as soon as possible. For context I am 27, have an integrated masters in Physics, a masters in computer science, and have completed all of the ACA exams while I was working in a big 4 audit role. I am highly proficient with Excel, VBA, Python and C++, and complete multiple finance/non-finance based projects for fun.

My question is how do I transition to an FO role in as short a time as possible? Ideally I'd like to transition within three years before turning 30. Do comp accountants interact with FO much and are there opportunities for me to network aggressively and display my skills? Would I have to take the CFA?

Any advice is welcome. If you are going to say its impossible then don't bother responding please. I am extremely driven and am willing to work non-stop 7 days a week and after working hours to achieve this goal. I am completely dedicated to outworking any competition and I will outwork them.

Thank you in advance.
