Need career advice please. Should I take this job offer?
Little background on myself. I was recruited to WF’s MMB analyst program in January. Quickly realized I don’t really like commercial banking and have been applying aggressively ever since.
I finally landed a role with UBS’s investment bank as a credit risk analyst for their LevFin team, a MO role i plan to use to eventually lateral to a FO role. My concern is, UBS is #15 on LevFin league tables. Will this negatively effect my ability to one day transition to PE or a private credit fund? Should I decline and keep applying? I really like this opportunity but not sure. Thanks!
