NETWORKING CALL WITH HEAD OF GROUP

Hi all,

I was able to land a networking call with the head of an industry group at a UMM/MM IB firm for tomorrow. I am pretty nervous as to what questions to ask and how (im not sure if I can, but I want to ask him about full time recruiting as that is the type of recruitment I am trying to do as I am graduating next may) I can best position myself to get a spot at the firm. If any of you guys have any questions I can ask the head of the group it will all very helpful as I am currently freaking out. It is also a zoom call so pretty scared haha. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think you'll realise after 2 mins that seniors are a lot more chill than you think.

Direct the questions to allow them to talk about themselves, especially their career. Pick out points that relate to you and discuss them, let it flow naturally.

At the end, always ask if there's anyone else they suggest talking to.

False. Called a head of product group and he began asking me technical questions. This was freshman summer fwiw
