I have a networking call with someone in LA tomorrow, I live in Toronto, and I was wondering if there was an app that I could use to avoid paying for long-distance? I have the contacts number and I know you can do it during apps like WhatsApp/Viber if both individuals have the app but I did not ask him if he does and I feel like right now is a bit too late. If you have their contact number, you could text them, with a video conferencing link (e.g. zoom or MS teams) and politely ask if this is okay. All they would have to do is press the link and they'd be on. Chances are they have used something like these before. Worth asking in my opinion.
