No clue what to do after graduating
I recently graduated from EUR with a Bachelor's in Econometrics and achieved a 7.7 GPA. I'm feeling uncertain about my next steps. I have been accepted into the Financial Econometrics programme at UvA, and I also have the option to go directly into the EUR MSc in Quantitative Finance. I am hesitant to spend another year in Rotterdam, and I’m considering whether taking a gap year might be the right choice to switch geography. I should also mention that I am not a native or proficient Dutch speaker. I would really want to live in London though

Do you have internships? Otherwise do a 2 year target master (like mim/mif at hec/bocconi/escp..) to get experience in the gap year.
Or if you can, take a gap year before the master at rotterdam to do off cycles.
Will help you break into London more easily.
I would say avoid bocconi (needless to say avoid ESCP). Aim with your bachelor and grades LSE or HEC. They know econometrics is hard and even to get a good GPA (7.7 is good) :)
Lse/lbs aren't 2 year
Stay at Erasmus university. Great Value for money. The MSc in Quantitative Finance is great. You can find a good job in the Netherlands with just english. The only that are worth spending much more are the UK targets and HEC to a lesser extent: Oxford, LSE, LBS and HEC. The rest no :) Good luck
You want to break into Quant?
I am thinking more in the direction of IB. Oxford and LSE seem to favor a first class degree (8+).
Do you have relevant experience? If not then even Oxford or LSE can't help in landing roles even if you get in. They're 9 month programs and you get an 18 months visa to find something which sponsors which goes by quickly
Rotterdam again would be pretty much useless. Especially for quant finance. They hire only from a handful of programs, and rotterdam's isn't one of them.
Find another one at eth, Imperial or similar tier.

That's so inaccurate 😂 do your research. Msc Maths and Finance at imperial is a top program, very selective.
