No M&A experience but took a course

Hello everyone, would appreciate to seek guidance from all of you. So this is my situation:

I am a finance graduate with 10 years worth of experience in various financial instruments. I had experience in financial modeling/valuation but its just DCF at most. My current job is investment analyst in crypto industry, which I want to move away from. Now, I want to go back to good old trad finance. However, the jobs that I am interested to is heavy on financial modeling and need of M&A experience. I had taken a couple of courses, even online videos around this topic. The question is, if I am asked if I have an experience in M&A, I'm afraid that if I said that I only have taken online course/certificate around this topic the HR or hiring managers would think this is not enough..
