No visa for UK can we make it?

Hey guys , I study in a European target but unfortunately I need to be sponsored in order to work in the UK. Outside of regular apps I plan to apply for boutiques as well. If someone has experience can you share whether boutiques consider sponsoring good applicants or not. Feel free to name drop specific firms.

If you hold a EU passport and are at a EU target; it should be possible, but it's never easy.
I meet EU grads all the time in London and many teams appreciate the various languages and good education. I am guessing you speak English and the additional EU language or even more.

Agree with the earlier poster - at the larger banks (not necessarily the UK-focused ones like Peel Hunt) that compete internationally it's very normal (even encouraged given the benefits of having language capabilities) to have interns and grads from all over Europe (and, as long as they study at a UK or EU (or Swiss, etc.) target university, even further afield).

Of course I'd include all the BBs if you want specific names, but even the much wider net of international banks with sizeable offices in London (Jefferies, RBC, HSBC, Nomura, Santander, Rothschild, all the sizeable EBs, etc. etc.)

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I was actually referring more to the smaller boutiques in London, which I am considering as a back-up plan in case I don't land a role within the bigger firms. Do you have any info if those take people without visas?
