Off cycle internships, November to January

Hello, I’m a rising sophomore at a target school on the quarter system. Due to COVID, I will be home mid November to early January. I am looking for something finance related, preferably ib or pe to do during this time period. Anyone have any advice or leads? Would cold emailing boutiques be my best bet? If so any advice on how to structure the email so I doesn’t come off as rude/unprofessional as some of these contacts I would try to use for my sophomore summer as well. I don’t have anything finance related on my resume yet so kind of desperate as I know critical junior year recruiting starts as early as February.
