Offer to move to NY from Toronto to do IB M&A. Would only want to go for 1 - 1.5 years, would it be worth it to experience NY and a larger market?

Have an offer to move from IB in Toronto to New York in M&A at a Tier 2 / Tier 3 BB bank as an Associate. Would want to move back to Toronto in 1 - 1.5 years, is it still worth it to move to NY and experiencing the city (if possible when working in M&A in NY)?

Would the experience be worth it , while also needing to devote time to completing Series exams? As an alternate option, I have an alternate offer at a RE PE shop locally.
