Incoming at a strong BB group and am starting to worry about lack of PE internships for on cycle. For context, basically all of my non-IB experience is in public equities (whether at HFs or via competitions), which I’m worried might be a bad look for trying to break into privates. Has anyone who has gone through on cycle successfully had a similar background? Any advice would really be appreciated!
